"Tasted the 09 Steading, 10 Struie, 09 Gask, 09 RunRig and 06 Laird the other night and it's fair to say I like the two least expensive wines the best. This is Eden Valley (16%) & Barossa Valley (84%) and now comes with a screwcap.

Black fruit, ground spice, mint and coal with savoury toasty oak. Full bodied with plenty of fine powder tannin, and it's this tannin work that's possibly the best feature of the wine. A little warmth but plenty of rich blackcurranty flavour and depth to go with it. Sweet and long to close. Really good Barossa Shiraz. Fans of this style will not be disappointed."
