"There is a nice array of expression so early here that’s good to see! Rose petal spiced plum and strawberries with some crushed nutmeg on the nose. The palate exhibits similar flavour spectrum with some nice density to it, trademark Toolangi tannin to close but its fresh and ready to go!
Established in 1995, Toolangi Vineyards is in the Yarra Valley adjoining the Toolangi State Forest. This single site vineyard on fine clay loam produces wines with distinctive personalities, each wine showing a strong sense of place. Low cropped fruit from 20 year old vines of MV6 Pinot Noir clone." - Toolangi
"A Pinot to blow so many equally priced out of the water. 2023 was a low yielding but strong quality year. Toolangi have such a pedigreed site and a strong winemaking team and the results show clearly in the bottle. This Pinot Noir is densely packed and forward in flavour, but not overblown in any way. The mouthfeel is silky and it delivers gorgeous red berry, rosehip and subtle spice flavours." - Wine House
