Wine Front 96 Points!
"23-year-old vines, 20% new French oak, indigenous yeast through both the primary and malolactic fermentation process. Superb chardonnay. Straw-yellow in colour, flinty, powerful of fruit and glorious through the finish. It tastes of white peach, toffee-coated custard apples, oatmeal and smoke-drifted cedarwood, and while it’s tight through the finish the flavours someone manage to reach on through. It remains fresh, steely and refreshing and yet it offers so much. Yes, yes and yes."
Campbell Mattinson, Wine Front, May 2019
"Spicy, faintly floral aromas of stone fruit, grapefruit, lime juice and coriander are backed by matchstick-like oak and a hint of mineral. It’s round and creamy, smooth and voluptuous, with a gentle, mouthfilling core of flavour and nougat-like complexity finishing with a hint of butter, gentle lemony acids and a faint smokiness."
