"This chardonnay is a vibrant, layered rendition, built around saline acids and a core of bright fruit. It unwinds with lemon blossom, white peach and pear, and some nutty oak spice before a chalky, grippy close.
Located in the northern Yarra Valley region of Dixons Creek, Toolangi Vineyard is a special site for growing grapes. Sheltered by the Toolangi state forest on one side, the vines are positioned on undulating slopes and the block design follows the natural curve of the land. Planted in 1995, with additional plantings in 2001, the site produces premium Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz.
