"Amarone is a distinctive red wine blend of traditional Valpolicella varieties. The grapes are picked very ripe and then left on drying racks for some months, when they change character and concentrate flavours and sugars. The result is a wine of tremendous concentration of dark blackberry fruitcake, with substantial richness and body. It's warmish but not overly alcoholic. 93 Points."
