"Slightly confectionary aromas of sweet cherries and raspberries are backed by slightly autumnal and meaty suggestions of decaying leaves. Smooth and viscous, its palate reveals both meaty and herbal, capsicum-like influences. Framed by silky tannins, it reveals an unusual, rather fragile and ethereal orange rind-like expression of pinot noir. While it perhaps lacks a profound core of fruit, its does deliver some density of flavour and pleasing elegance. Drink 2006-2009."
