Gary Walsh 94+ points"Chocolate sauce, floral perfume, crack of black pepper, berry compote, almost a sea spray character. Medium to full bodied, chocolate and hazelnuts, glossy feel with just right acidity imbuing a kind of cranberried freshness, then a wide spread of gently sticky tannin. Has fruit and generosity, but is mercifully not sweet. Goes all dried herb perfume on the finish, with a chomp of tannin to bring it in tight. Gee, this is really very good."
