“There’s certainly a lot of sexy-time oak here but it’s good stuff – nougat, vanilla and cloves folded into rich plum and berry fruit. It’s full bodied with ultra-smooth tannins, you have to swish it suck it right round your mouth to find them, but they’re there all right, and they grip when you do (find them that is). The flavours are of rich dark fruit, vanilla and chocolate with savoury clove spice oak. Seductive, long and so very delicious that you feel a bit naughty while drinking it. Great now, maybe better later. Yum”
