Thousand Candles pick their Sauvignon Blanc grapes later so this is a big, riper style than our neighbours'. Fermented 'wild' in old oak barrel, this is a wine full of interest, texture and flavour.

"A dialed down, relatively restrained sauvignon blanc of tropical fruits, light grassiness, some good intensity to flavour but ostensibly a simple wine. Juiciness is a thing here, so is the squeaky, lightly puckering finish. Feels good. Easy drinking, nicely done, pretty four square kinda vibe but you’d tuck in with gusto."
