Gary Walsh 94 points!"Tasted quickly in a line-up of 10×2010 Hunter Shiraz, this was in the top 3 wines of the session. The other two were Rosehill and Meerea Park Alexander Munro " both previously reviewed by Mattinson.
Blue and black fruit, chocolate and hazelnutty oak, spice. Medium bodied, red, black and blue fruit, oak and pure fruit style, not so much earth (as yet) " smooth high quality tannin and plenty of spicy length. Already looks complex and settled " with more to come, of course. Slight acid nip on the finish but a composed and high quality wine. Best of the Thomas 2010 releases (with Motel Block in close behind and perhaps best in the future)."
