"Zing! A rapier thrust of tense, coiled, tangy citrus fruit with a fine textural feel of steely minerality that finishes long and pure across the palate. In youth, aromatics are floral and citrus orientated, fresh and vibrant as only young Semillon can be. A wine of subtle complexity, and undeniable pedigree. With time (and this could be decades with patient cellaring), the wine will mellow and flesh out well with lemon curd and toast characters, yet the faint core of tight acidity will keep the wine refreshing to drink."
