Though this Premium bottling no longer indicates age, the refinement and deep mellowness of the whisky is retained, as is the sense of tradition conveyed by the use of the original, asymmetrical bottle. This inspired "Kimono" bottling features the golden emblem designed by Nikka founder, and the Father of Japanese Whisky, Masataka Taketsuru. 

This expression of Whisky has been tailor-designed to perfection as a hybrid of Nikka's traditions and modernity. Using primarily malt whiskies in the formula, precise blending results in a perfect marriage of rich malty flavors and soft mouthfeel of Coffey Grain with a complex finish.
