"Surly pinot noir at this early stage of its life but it has the goods in store. It's a dry, flinty, smoky wine with crushed spice and boysenberry/strawberry notes to the fore. It has excellent intensity, within a varietal context, and more than a little broodiness to its personality. I wouldn't drink this young; it needs time. It knows where it's going though and it'll be worth following/meeting it there. Smoky/spicy/dry tannin is a highlight. All round it's impressive to say the least."
