"This limited edition wine explores the regional characteristics of cool climate Shiraz. A mild vintage produced average yields and consistent ripening across the Springs Block. The cooler conditions allowed for the gradual development and depth in flavour.
Sourced from the Merindoc vineyard in the cooler southern foothills of the Heathcote region, this wine showcases classic Shiraz characters for which this region is known and has been combined with Viognier to create a generous and lasting wine. Upfront smoked meats and charcuterie on the nose with pops of red licorice and juniper. The palate is rich with ripe forest berries and a biltong backbone. The tannins are not shy and provide texture and grip on the finish. This wine is best enjoyed by the fire, today or in 10 years’ time." - Ten Minutes By Tractor
