"The Mornington Peninsula wine region stretches from the lower, flatter areas in the north up to the rolling hills and valleys that dominate Red Hill, Main Ridge and the highest point on the peninsula: Arthur's seat at 315m above sea level.

The differences, in what local vignerons refer to as 'up the hill' and 'down the hill', in elevation, aspect, temperature, rainfall and soils can result in significant differences in harvest dates and ultimately the wines that are produced. These differences provide a fascinating insight in the many factors the influence the wine in your glass.

At Ten Minutes by Tractor our aims is to produce wines that reflect the unique and diverse characteristics of our region. The 2019 'Up the Hill' Estate Pinot noir is a selection of best barrels produced from our 'Up the Hill vineyards: Wallis (46%), McCutcheon (27%), Judd (18%), Spedding (9%).

Perfume and spice dance around licorice, cumquat and lavender notes that are expressed willingly in the glass. The fine mineral tannins groove the palate and complete a well structured and enjoyable wine, typical of ‘Up the Hill’." - Ten Minutes By Tractor
