"The Telmo Rodriguez Corriente is a classic wood-aged Rioja, but with very tempting fruit. The wine is a blend of the grapes Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha where the Tempranillo, as befits Rioja's, predominates. In the glass, this Telmo Rioja is purple-red to red. In the nose fruity (blackcurrant, blackberry), vanilla and spiciness. In the mouth a soft attack and good concentration. The wine has mild tannins and mild acidity but a long finish. Like all Telmo wines, this wine is also produced organically, so no fertilizer or poison." - Wine Advocate

After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and undergo a process of cold maceration. Telmo RodriguezCorriente is subsequently fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks.

Finally, Telmo Rodríguez Corriente is aged in barrels and foudres of varying ages before marketing. Telmo Rodriguez Corriente is what it is called an everyday La Rioja wine. The Telmo Rodriguez Wine Company intend people to use it daily.
