'Lovely to drink' - Wine Front!
Varieties:  25% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 30% Rondinella, 10% Molinara, 10% Rossignola, Negrara, Dindarella.
Region: Valpolicella,  Veneto, Italy
“A young frisky wine, raised in stainless steel, then sent to bottle for two months before release. It’s Corvina (25%), Corvinone (25%), Rondinella (30%), Molinara (10%) and Rossignola, Negara e Dindarella (10%)
Bright, fresh and peppery, with raspberry and red cherry, and a little floral perfume. Light to medium bodied, sure-footed acidity and light sandy tannin give it vitality, and the finish is solid, closing with jubey red fruit and pepper. Lovely to drink. Happy wine.”
Gary Walsh, Wine Front, June 2017
Lucchine is the name of the vineyard that provides the grapes. It is located in the plains at the foot of Pedemonte hills in the heart of the historic Valpolicella Classica area. This vineyard, thanks to the unique winemaking process used with the grapes, yields a fresh and fruity Valpolicella Classico, ideal to enjoy throughout the meal.
