"Tapanappa is an Australian-French consortium founded by Brian Croser (ex-Petaluma), Bordeaux-born Jean-Michel Cazes and Champagne Bollinger. The international nature of the partnership is echoed in this tasty wine. It takes the very Australian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz (with a dab of Cabernet Franc) grown in Wrattonbully in South Australia, to make a red blend with a suave French accent. Cedery oak, blackcurrant, raspberry and clove-like notes mark the nose, while the medium-bodied palate has savoury flavours, an ultra-fine texture and perfect balance. Charming."
