Tobacco leaf, greenery, garam masala, charcuterie and a heap of wild red and black berry fruit. A heady, exotic aromatic profile with Barossan richness and fortitude. The palate shows a different shade " there is serious depth and concentration but a brightness of acidity and spring in tannin that keeps things very drinkable. Plenty of weight here though, and a lick of sweet cedar for the traditionalists. A little monochromatic, but a fleshy, expressive style with plenty of time to go."
