"The aromas of the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc Merlot show dark plum intermingled with blackcurrants and elements of cigar box. This medley carries through to the palate with tight acidity, complex fine grain tannin and spicy oak. Providing extra length and dimension. Still a young wine, it will benefit with cellar time.

The 2022 blend is composed of 30-40% Merlot and Cabernet Franc, complemented by a hint of Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Carménère, with the balance being Cabernet Sauvignon. Maintaining a low crop level is crucial for the fruit to ripen fully and develop rich flavors. The wine underwent a four-week fermentation on the skins prior to pressing, with natural yeast employed throughout the process. It was then matured in oak for 24 months, followed by the final blending and bottling unfiltered." - Sorrenberg
