"This latest tasting of 140 young shirazes has many highlights, one of which was Sons Of Eden. Their 201Hu4 and 2013 releases were all impressive. If you like big, rich, dark-coloured, dense Barossa and Eden Valley shiraz, this little Barossa based winery is hard to look past. Romulus is the Barossa old vine shiraz; Remus is the Eden Valley equivalent. Both are exceptional.

 

Deep red/purple hue, with a rich, fruitcake and cinnamon spice aroma. The palate is full-bodied, rich and deep, with clean, focused flavour and mouth-filling volume. Lovely wine. Spicy for a Barossa wine. A really smart big red."
