"This is the first release of a Shiraz under the Trevarrick label. The wine has an attractive crimson robe with purple highlights. Aromas of black cherry, pan juices, mulberry and black pepper jump out of the glass. The palate is both medium bodied and sumptuous, with flavours of coffee, roasting herbs, black olive and boysenberry appearing in abundance with hints of spearmint on the finish.
The wine is crafted in a way that it can be enjoyed thoroughly upon release, but has the tannin and acid structure to develop for the next 10 " 15 years. "
