'A cracking vintage in the Hills, says winemaker Adam Wadewitz, I usually like complaining about vintages, but there was nothing I could point my finger at in 2015. Kind start to season, yields were modest, really low stress. A unique vintage in that winemakers were happy and grape growers were happy. Something to consider arguably Australias most well-known sauvignon blanc is a dry wine too. A real success story. Super perfume. Nettle scents, talc, gin and tonic whiffs. Really pleasing start. Anchors you in. Clean, crisp, long in flavour, just a bit of chalkiness to texture but a smooth, slick glide of gently sweet-sour fruit is the key, finishing with squeaky acidity. Its refreshing, moreish, easy to drink. Touch of class, but best of all is its drinkability. Go forth.'
