[SOLD-OUT] Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc 2012

"Reputedly one of the great 'go to' wines of its era. It's at its clean and bright best with this 2012 release. Lots of upfront fruit here. Passionfruit and thistles. Pink grapefruit, the press release says. It's unoaked and dry but it feels relatively soft on the tongue. Tangy and not at all lacking in acidity, but easy-going. No off characters here. Just pure ripe tangy fruit. Pretty much bang on as a fresh white wine."
