"Beautiful perfume, silky medium weight, touches of spice and herbal detail, bright red berry fruit spectrum and a fine dusting of pepper. It’s a really lovely wine, glorious for its texture, brilliant for its length and elegance, though you could say it’s a riper flavour profile for a St Peters. Seamless flow and with good concentration, the glide across the palate is notable. It’s quite addictive to drink, indeed." - Wine Front

"Fantastic wine, no two ways about it. It’s not a big wine. It doesn’t need to be. It shows off pepper, plum, clove and graphite characters and it threads woodsmoke and cured meat characters throughout. It’s fresh but settled; it’s balanced on a pinhead. It comes sheeted with ultra-fine tannin and exquisite length. It takes time to open properly in the glass and that, of course, isn’t a bad thing. This can be cellared with confidence." - Wine Front

"An excellent release that marries glorious perfume, superb texture, deep flavour, generosity and very fine tannins. It’s quite plummy, dusted with white pepper, clove and cinnamon spice, shows some mahogany and new leather depth and faint whiffs and licks of mint. It rolls with commanding presence through the palate, not overblown, but with lavish flavour and serious, stentorian grip and tactile spice. Quite an amazing wine to drink now, but this one feels like a long-termer in your wine prisons." - Wine Front
