'This is moving ever-closer to a cooler, spicer style, the oak influence becoming less and less. It's also brimming with floral, violetty scent, the flavours that follow matching the style beautifully: pepper, aniseed, raspberry, cherry and blueberry, a husky meaty undercarriage packing it with interest. This is not a big wine: it's medium-weight and spice-driven, and at this early stage of its life,m it needs at least a few hours in a decanter to show its complex best.
