"Another really good Great Western shiraz of hidden power and strength, this time from Seppelt. It's dark and earthy, with a musky, meaty expression of varietal cassis and plum fruit. A firm wine, still very closed and youthful, its long and lingering palate of sour plums and cherries, cedary oak and firm tannins finishes with a distinctive minty note. Drink 2008+."
