A seductive mix of ripe (but fresh) black fruits, aniseed, coal, chocolate box, spice and well measured toasty vanilla oak. Sensational. On the palate full bodied with oceans of mouth filling black and red fruit, spice, mocha, aniseed and tar flavours. Not heavy, this is really fresh and lively with rolling waves of fine tannin and refreshing acidity. Persistent and long. What a great Shiraz.
