Gary Walsh 92+ points!"Dense blackcurranty, almost Ribena-like fruit, backed with creamy French oak. It has some submerged Franc character of dried herb and tobacco, but pretty much it's big and ripe with thick layers of tannin and a good long finish. A little warm and 'inelegant' but there's no denying the power and impact here. Should cellar well and gain complexity. Impressive."
