"Wild, floral and spicy, aromas of cooked plums and cassis, chocolate/cedar/vanilla oak with earthy, tarry undertones. Forward and creamy, long and linear, it dries out towards a sappy finish of and slightly metallic tannins and green-edged acids. Very ripe, delivering punchy flavours of prunes and currants, it's an atypical Balmoral with some, but significantly less than its usual polish. Drink 2004-2007."
