"What a beautiful traditional Barossa ‘claret’ this is. Red fruits, a lick of liquorice, tar and roses, sage and spice. It’s medium bodied, gentle and precise, with light powdery tannin, attractive perfume and dried herb complexity, and long gently saline finish. I’m thinking it will be very good drinking with a decade or so under its belt."
