Winemaker John Hughes has dedicated himself to the art of fine riesling, and, particularly, the balance between sugar, fruit and acidity that allows him to play with varying residual sugar levels. Here he makes a pitch perfect off dry style. Breakfast wine of highest order, but take it way more seriously.

Complex bouquet with honeysuckle, candlewax, fresh citrus, kaffir lime leaf, raw ginger. Palate has good lick of sweetness but incredible acid backbone. Superb balance, lightning bolt of acidity through the wine. It races along with crystalline feel, precise and thrilling with its delicious, moreish, fresh nature. Brilliant.
