"The 2013 Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà is shockingly seamless in this tasting. Deep layers of fruit virtually bury the tannins, something that is so unusual for a young Rabajà. A host of dark blue-tone fruits, lavender, mint, violet and spice race across the palate in an utterly vivid, compelling Barbaresco of the highest level. Perhaps I caught the Rabajà on an unusually open day, but it is terrific and also quite refined for such a young wine. Drink 2023-2043" 96 Points

"Beautiful wine. So pure and well defined. There’s a spray of flowers, liquorice root, new leather and red berries. It’s lithe and well-knit, with ripe orange juice acidity, layers of spice and crunchy red fruits, but also a savoury undertow that makes it that little bit more compelling. The finish is long and vibrant, with fine emery tannin pushing it out, and a lingering flavour of liquorice. Dead set classic Rabajà. Drink 2019-2034" 96+ Points
