'A charmingly balanced, complex and artfully made with with genuine personality and a point of difference. Floral and heady, its opulent perfume of cassis, dark plums and violets reveals a background of cedar, chocolate and vanilla-like oak and a hint of baked earth over faint nuances of mint and menthol. Saturated with penetrative, brambly flavours of dark plums, cherries and berries, the palate is rich, plush and sumptuous but never looks heavy or out of shape. It's supported by a firm, tight-knit extract of fine tannins, is enriched by finely integrated cedar/chocolate oak and finishes with lingering dark fruits and refreshing acidity.'
