"An earlier drinking expression, it's already highly aromatic, bursting with flavours of juicy blue fruits, perfumed violets and spice. The palate is vibrant with a silky body, underpinned by driving acidity and a nip of graphite-like tannins.
The 2020 harvest was the first time that the Place of Changing Winds team sourced a batch of fruit from an exciting new grower in Harcourt, on the granitic sands of Mount Alexander. They only worked with a single fermenter this year in order to test the site, blending the batch with some of the lighter, declassified ferments from the Heathcote Syrah.
