Jeremy Oliver 94 points!"Meaty, slightly stewed aromas of dark plums, cassis, tobacco and mint are closed and brooding, rather shrouded by cedar/chocolate new oak. Firm, fleshy and well structured, the palate is more lively, with bright, if rather simple black and red berry flavours, plums, chocolate and vanilla, with hints of licorice and currants. Hasn't great length, but a fine effort from this vintage. Drink 2008-2012+."
Campbell Mattinson 92 Points!"Sweet, condensed-milk richness is followed by a bloom of mid palate exuberance, with plum, blackcurrant and deep-tucked spicy/cedary oak the main flavours. There's a briariness about the edges and quite a deal of sweet oak. Tannic, perhaps too much so, and full-flavoured " once the structure falls into the place, it should drink and mature very well."
