"100% Pinot Noir from high quality Burgundy villages Fixin and Brochon. Fixin brings the finesse to the earthy engine of clay-based Brochon. Together this well-pitched wine is a pure and attractive glass of Burgundy. Fully destemmed, it sees 50% old oak, 50% stainless steel to protect the aromatics. The palate is an elegant and lengthy journey of cherry and red berried fruit, with a undercarriage of earth and leaf. Enjoy with game, red sauces or soft centred cheeses.
Taking over the family domaine in 2018, Pascal Pernot quickly gained respect and admiration as a top Gevrey-Chambertin producer. Pascal’s great grandfather was chauffeur to the Liégard family of the Château de Brochon and subsequently inherited some vineyards (including the holding in La Croix Violette). The Domaine was established in 1900, with Pascal as the fourth generation, and surrounds the village of Brochon with a total of 7 ha." - Wine House
