Rich, meaty and deeply scented, this is a powerful, smooth and balanced shiraz of sweetness and charm. There's a brooding aspect to its spicy aromas of red plums and berries, cedar/vanilla oak, shoe leather and meaty shiraz undertones. A sumptuous palate of slightly sour-edged fruit and mouth-coating tannin packs plenty of flavour, before a lingering savoury and slightly salty/mineral finish. Give it some time.
