It’s such a well balanced wine. Rich, yep, dark berries, ripe cherry, chocolate all molten in texture and smooth. Flickers of Aussie bush character in that and wonderfully set up with elements of spice and minty herbs. Rolls over the palate with authority but liveliness, tannins seamless, cinching well, finishing the wine’s sweeter elements with a gravelly, granitic minerality.
