"Quite rich and full yet refreshment factor is retained. Quite a bit of rich stone fruit to sniff on, preserved lime, ginger, toasted coconut whiffs, a touch of toffee apple in there too. Bold flavours, big and round yet a core of crackling, grapefruity acidity spiked with brine. There’s character in spades here, lots of texture yet crisp edges, a flourish of toffee apple to finish. Yum. Just damn yum." - Wine Front
Distinctive and complex, Patrick Sullivan's 2023 Bull Swamp Chardonnay displays abundant nutty and earthy aromas. Intense green and white fruit take hold, alongside delicate spice. A beautifully balanced white wine that can be enjoyed now or well in to the future." - Wine House
"The Bull Swamp vineyard was planted in 1982 by the Farrington family on the very edge of the Warragul township. The Bull Swamp Chardonnay comes from the older plantings of the P58 clone on a north facing aspect of the site. Deep rich volcanic soils nourish the dry grown grape vines. Elevation at 100m, this section of the vineyard receives the least amount of airflow relative to the estate's other sites, with the northerly aspect providing full sunlight and exposure, resulting in powerful and rich fruit." - Principal Wines
