"Distinctively nutty and earthy nose, this is from first sniff a complex wine. The palate continues with a large spectrum of fruit and spice components. This is big, bold and loud, a stunner of a wine." - Wine House
"The Bull Swamp vineyard was planted in 1982 by the Farrington family on the very edge of the Warragul township. The Bull Swamp Chardonnay comes from the older plantings of the P58 clone on a north facing aspect of the site. Deep rich volcanic soils nourish the dry grown grape vines. Elevation at 100m, this section of the vineyard receives the least amount of airflow relative to the estate's other sites, with the northerly aspect providing full sunlight and exposure, resulting in powerful and rich fruit." - Principal Wines
