"The 2019 Chablis "Terroir de Courgis" is well defined on the nose, with more floral scents, dandelion and jasmine developing in the glass. In the mouth, it is finely tuned with a lovely spicy midpalate. Ginger and lemongrass judiciously lace the satisfying finish. Excellent." - Neal Martin

"Although he makes Grand & Premier Cru Chablis, Patrick Piuze is committed to reversing this perception that affordable AC Chablis is one dimensional and unremarkable. Terroir de Courgis comes from a single vineyard of clay topsoil above Kimmeridgian limestone bedrock that's known for fuller-bodied Chardonnay. It's typically the most weighty (think ripe, round fruit) of the Terroir wines.

Medium-bodied, dry, it has flavours of apple and flinty minerality on the nose followed by a dense palate of lemon and stone fruit. The finish has plenty of minerality, wet river rocks and smoky hints. Outstanding." - Wine House
