"Although he makes Grand & Premier Cru Chablis, Patrick Piuze is committed to reversing this perception that affordable AC Chablis is one dimensional and unremarkable. Terroir de Courgis comes from a single vineyard of clay topsoil above Kimmeridgian limestone bedrock that's known for fuller-bodied Chardonnay. It's typically the most weighty (think ripe, round fruit) of the Terroir wines.

Medium-bodied, dry, it has flavours of apple and flinty minerality on the nose followed by a dense palate of lemon and stone fruit. The finish has plenty of minerality, wet river rocks and smoky hints. Outstanding." - Wine House
