Campbell Mattinson 91 points!

Campbell Mattinson 91 points!'If you ever had any doubts that cool, southern, coastal Victoria could make ripe, attractive, affordable shiraz, then grab a bottle of this and they'll soon be put to rest - with a proviso. Sure, it smells (white) peppery, but, sheesh, from there it's all tar and cherry liqueur and cedary French oak. If you are accustomed to the warm-climate reds of the Barossa and McLaren Vale then this will taste drastically different ' and okay, admittedly, you might not like it. But if you don't mind a bit of white pepper in your shiraz, this is a very decent wine.'
