"Paradigm Hill no more, this should be called Mount Paradigm! The Hill has ascended incrementally to new heights of refinement over recent vintages, attaining its most distinguished pinnacle in 2010. Les Cinq is restrained and graceful, a pinot noir defined by delicacy and purity, with wafts of rose petal perfume and red cherry, raspberry and pink pepper fruit. A long tail of red cherry persistence is given solid support by firmly structured, peppery yet silky tannins promising impressive longevity."

"The Les Cinq [which is grown on the 5 most westerly, ferrous and elevated rows of pinot noir section of our vineyard] presents as elegant, alluring, fragrant, with fine structure and gracious persistence. Both wines reflect a Burgundian inspiration, expressing savoury, earthy elements, fresh vibrant fruit and silky tannins with balance and amazing persistence and power on the palate."

"Perhaps you'd say it is more feminine than it's counterpart, the L'ami Sage (which incidentally means "Wise Friend"). It certainly makes you ponder it a bit more, less overt in its bouquet, but no less rewarding. To the Burgundy connoisseur (which you would certainly say of winemaker George Mihaly), this is more like a Volnay in comparison to the L'ami Sage, which is closer to a Pommard in style. It certainly is a fascinating wine; one which everyone should taste, consider and enjoy."
