The 2014 Gigondas is medium-bodied, fresh and elegant, with firm tannin, moderate depth and classy notes of dried earth, dried strawberries, cherries and spice. The blend here is always 80% Grenache and 10% each of Syrah and Cinsault, and the elevage is 18 months in concrete tanks.
