Campbell Mattison 92 Points!
Fruit and flavour is excellent. Alcohol warmth is a little more distracting. It tastes of blackberry and asphalt, graphite, salt-bush and cloves. Fruit does the talking; there's little oak to speak of here, save for the wine's creamy smoothness. Rusty, earthen tannin adds a rustic kind of sophistication. Balance is good. In a warm-hearted style, this is very good.
