“2018 Pinot Gris is a lovely display of the Ocean Eight style, lean, bright & tight with acid at the finish. The palate shows balance between some fresh citrus intensity of tangerines and some ripe pears. A little ginger from the extended time on yeast lees complements the fruit nicely. Crisp acid finish is in evidence, and with time the wine should develop some oily texture associated with barrel made Pinot Gris."
