"An interesting release. Flavour-wise it’s excellent. Concentrated blackcurrant, gentle briar/herb notes, a swoosh of (integrated) smoky oak, and a general sense of richness and impact. It feels like a quality red wine. Tannin-wise is where it gets most interesting: there’s a lot of tannin here. Age isn’t likely to weary it any time soon; it has plenty of time to fall into step."
