Across the palate, pure and prickly with a steadfast, linear, absolutely racy but very fine, striking length and line. Very, very delicate, slight, fine boned detail and a touch of phenolic grip for added interest. Lingering flavour is striking, as is the general poise of this wine. Great."

Campbell Mattinson 96 points!You have to like "struck match" chardonnay because this is loaded with that character, on both the nose and in the mouth. It smells and tastes smokin'. It's generally lean and racy but there's no lack of character and, indeed, oomph. Lemons, nectarines, white peach even. A slinky slateyness. Wild and energetic through the finish. A celebration of no holds barred chardonnay.
